Transfer chutes

With transfer chutes, it’s the combination of particle size, material velocity, throughput, and material stickiness that determine the optimal choice of wear protection solution.

If the transported material tends to stick to the lining, then look for a ceramic and rubber hybrid with excellent non-stick behavior. This kind of solution would also be a good choice when working with small-to-medium particle sizes and high material velocity.

For applications involving large rocks hitting a wall at around 90°, rubber is normally the best option. It can re-direct energy and protect the entire chute structure. For high throughput applications, in combination with large rocks and excessive wear, the HX900 is again the optimal solution.
